WS: Flowing Floating
Presentation for schools/spaces:
This workshop focuses on fabrics and rope, aiming to teach movements and direct passages with an emphasis on ecological movement, minimizing purely technical adjustments.
I've created three movement groups based on difficulty. You can choose the group that best suits the participants' abilities. These groups are indicative and can be modified during the workshop based on observations. Additional movements can also be *proposed before or during the session.

*I use social media as a diary for movements I don't practice frequently. You might find something interesting there.

Workshop Development:
It's recommended to offer at least two 3-hour sessions, but personalized solutions are possible.

The indicative program is:
-
Warm-up and strengthening on the equipment: This is crucial, as many movements seem impossible due to lack of strength or flexibility, not technical limitations.
-
Technique: Introduction of techniques.
-
Review: Recapitulation of everything covered to maximize retention.
Note: I advise the structure/school to invite participants 30 minutes early for a basic warm-up on the ground, independently, to maximize time together and prevent injuries.

Structure Prerequisites:
-
Anti-fall mattresses of at least 20cm.
-
At least half the number of stations for the participants (maximum 2 participants per station).
-
Request any additional ropes and fabrics in advance.

Participant Prerequisites:
For the chosen movement group:
-
Level 1: Inversion/Reverse and Hip Key.
-
Level 2: Inversion/Reverse, Hip Key with outstretched arms, Meathook with two arms.
-
Level 3: Inversion/Reverse with outstretched arms, Meathook with one arm (5 seconds)

Rope vs. Fabrics:
While I prefer rope, everything done on it is potentially feasible on fabrics, with varying difficulty. Dynamics (beats) are easier on rope, while rolls and c-shapes are easier on fabrics.
I can bring ropes and/or fabrics with different thicknesses, textures, and elasticity upon request.

As a Teacher:
I didn't start gymnastics until I was 25, having a background as a musician. I understand the challenges of those approaching aerial without prior experience.
I'm a full-time teacher. Despite my artistic projects and daily workouts, I spend a significant portion of my time teaching, conveying passion and circus techniques.
